The Aama Homestay majestically situated in Kurseong and it takes about 15 minutes walk from the Kurseong train station to Aama Homestay.
KURSEONG is situated almost between Darjeeling and Siliguri. Kurseong means “The Land of White Orchid” in Lepcha Language. During the construction period of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway line, Kurseong became the head quarter and then gained prominence. The town is also surrounded by the internationally renowned tea gardens who produces Darjeeling’s finest tea. Some of the well known educational institutions are also located in this town.

A view point near the main town commands a spectacular view of the mountains, hills, and the plains. There is a small park with a monument dedicated to the martyrs from the region
Situated at St. Mary’s Hill, about 2 kms from Kurseong town, the Grotto houses a shrine of mother Mary. From here one can get a splendid view of Darjeeling hills, the river Balason and the many tea gardens of the region.

Located at Dow Hill on the upper reaches of Kurseong. It is about 4 kms away from the town and has a small amusement park. At a very close distance, is the Forest School which has an informative museum on the flora and the fauna of the region.
giddapahar kurseongGIDDA PAHAD:
Situated 2 kms from the town, which has a temple dedicated to lord Shiva. Located in the vicinity is the residence of the great Indian Freedom Fighter Netaji Suvash Chandra Bose.
makaibari-tea-estateMAKAIBARI TEA ESTATE:
Home of the farmed silver-tip muscated tea which attracts bidders from all over the world, The Makaibari Tea Estate is located 4 kms from the main town. This beautifully kept tea garden welcomes all visitors to manufacturing process and have a refreshing cup of garden fresh tea.
